Goods Return & Exchange Policy



Executive Summary

At Vinod Patel & Company Pte Limited (hereafter ‘VPCL’) we have a large selection of Brands that customers know and trust. We endeavor to provide complete satisfaction to our customers with their purchase. Should there be any dissatisfaction, our Return policy will address any concerns customers have with their purchase, particularly if it is defective or does not work.



Our Commitment

Return or exchange of goods may be considered only within seven (07) days of purchase provided that the goods are in its original state and condition and returned with its original packaging and accessories.



Return of Goods for Refund & Replacements

Customers may be entitled to a refund or replacement for return of goods within seven (07) days under the following condition:

  • Product(s) sold is not of merchantable quality;
  • Product(s) sold is faulty upon verification and confirmation from VPCL;
  • Product(s) sold does not correspond with description on the invoice.

After careful assessment, VPCL has the right to refuse refund or replacement. For all returns for refund, a surcharge of up to 10% may apply on the said transaction. Customers wishing to return goods are required to provide proof of purchase. No return will be provided in the absence of Original Tax Invoice.



The customer must return all items to a VPCL store nearest to them. In the case a pick-up from Customer site is required, standard charges (up to a minimum charge of $15) may apply. Please read the 'Expenses & Payment Clearance' section below for further details.



Exchange of Goods

We will exchange, refund or repair an item purchased from VPCL under the following conditions:

  • Original Receipt is presented at the return; and
  • The item is returned within seven (07) days of purchase; and
  • The item is in resaleable condition including that:

- It is in its original packaging, including instructions manuals and all accessories;

- It is unworn, unopened, unused and in its original condition; and

- The product is not one on which exchange is not available

- The item was not damaged while in the possession of the customer



If these requirements are not satisfied, VPCL reserves the right not to offer an exchange.



Exceptions

We cannot offer an exchange, refund or repair on:

  • Custom-made or specially ordered product(s)
  • Any product(s) specifically cut to size at customer request
  • Tinted paints, tiles or other products already installed at customer premises
  • Spare parts and/or other items sold in Clearance Sale or on ‘As Is Where Is Basis’
  • Goods which are not suitable for return due to heath protection or hygiene reasons and were unsealed after purchase (e.g., toilet seats)
  • Mobile phones/computers/Smart TVs, if material alterations to the device hardware or software is noted
  • Software downloads/upgrades are non-refundable
  • The item fault which is a result of misuse/abnormal use or neglect of the customer
  • The item which has been repaired by an unauthorized agent prior to being returned to VPCL.



Products can still be returned if they are faulty, not fit for purpose or do not match the sample or description.



Warranty

If a customer returns a product because he/she believes that the item was faulty or not of merchantable quality and that product is covered under warranty, VPCL may return the product to the manufacturer’s repair agent to determine the nature of the problem.



Consequential losses of any type including but not limited to any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or reputation, personal injury or impairment to other goods is not covered under warranty.



Expenses & Payment Clearance

In the event that VPCL needs to pick up the materials for return from the customers site/premises, the customer will be liable to pay for the cost of pick up.



Computers and smart phones which are returned may be tested. Any alternations to the original product will incur an inspection fee or refund denied.



Responsibility of Customers

Customers are advised to seek necessary clarification at the time of making their purchase to avoid any misunderstandings or confusions.



VPCL reserves the right to assess the condition and age of returned goods prior to providing a repair, exchange or refund. This may result in a repair, exchange or refund being refused.



VPCL reserves the right to amend its Goods Return and Exchange Policy without notice.
